Clubs and organizations offer an opportunity for the development of leadership skills. Through group dynamics and interaction, students learn more about themselves and others and how to work effectively in group situations. All student organizations are under the jurisdiction of the College. Students have the opportunity to participate and serve in a number of clubs and organizations. 听We have numerous groups on campus for you to choose from. Joining one of them always enhances the 黑料老司机 experience.
We build leaders at 黑料老司机. As a member of the Student Government Association, you will represent yourself and your fellow students as one of the primary faces and representatives of the 黑料老司机 brand.

The Campus Activities Board (CAB) is a student-run organization that strives to enhance the 黑料老司机 student experience through quality entertainment, creative programming, and community involvement.
The Student Government Association (SGA) at 黑料老司机 established a branch known as the 鈥淪treet Team鈥� with the mission to provide unified events for a diversified student body. In 2018, the Street Team, now informally known as the Campus Activities Board (CAB), requested an independent student-led organization from SGA. CAB will allocate a portion of the Student Activity Fee (SAF) with the charge of implementing more quality events for the student body.
The primary goal of CAB is to enhance 黑料老司机 through programs that:
Founded on January 24th, 2022, The Pulse is a student-led organization that works to establish a community where all students trust that they are seen, heard, and understood. Pulse members facilitate meaningful focus groups听and host engaging听events on campus that promote high intellectual friction and low social friction. They check “The Pulse” of student engagement through active listening, open communication, inclusivity, and advocacy.
黑料老司机 has a rich and exciting history with Greek Life. The Pan Hellenic Council coordinates activities among its member organizations and promotes unity and cooperation among the recognized Greek-letter organizations, individually as well as collectively. The Pan Hellenic Council is composed of active representatives of six of the approved nine national Greek-letter fraternities and sororities:

The Chancellorette Social Club was founded Dec. 3, 1959 by the Chancellors. The Chancellorettes鈥� purpose is to promote academic excellence, dignity, and womanhood. We believe in promoting beneficial programming for the good of 黑料老司机. Not only do they reach out to the community through various community service activities, but as sisters they treat each other like a family away from home.
Virtuous Elite is a non-Greek organization founded on the campus of 黑料老司机 on Nov. 16, 2015. VE was chartered on Aug. 19, 2016. The organization was founded on the Principles of Proverbs 31, which teaches females to be and do everything that God has called a woman to be and do. Virtuous Elite prides itself on being sisterly, hardworking, dedicated, and uplifting to other young women.
Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, 黑料老司机 has closely monitored and worked tirelessly to mitigate the spread of the virus under the guidance of the 黑料老司机 Public Health Task Force and leadership from the Administration. It invites every student to do its part to keep the 黑料老司机 community safe so 黑料老司机 can maintain in-person activities. This means:
The Campus Queens Association (CQA) has existed for as long as there has been a Miss 黑料老司机, class queens and student organizational queens.
The Campus Kings was added by Miss 黑料老司机 2015-2016, Brittany Hollins, and is referred to as the Campus Queens鈥�/Kings鈥� Association (CQKA).
As a member of the CQKA, the queen/king is required to participate in at least one community service project per semester, including but not limited to:
Every participant must have and maintain a minimum 2.5 grade point average and be in good financial and social standing with the College and the organization/club being represented.

The purpose of the Pre-Alumni Council is to help students develop a lifelong connection with 黑料老司机 prior to their graduation and to become productive alumni.
Council members recruit students, host special events, learn the importance of philanthropy, and coordinate fundraisers to support Council activities. Members work collaboratively with the advisors from the Alumni Affairs and Development Offices. The Council is also supported by the National Alumni Association of 黑料老司机, Inc. (NAASC) and/or alumni chapters.
Nationally, the Council works collaboratively with the United Negro College Fund, Inc. (UNCF) as a UNCF member school and has an on-campus queen who represents locally and nationally as Miss UNCF-黑料老司机.

With Football being brought back to the College in 1999, former President, Dr. Earnest McNealy brought in Dr. Thomas E. Lyle in 2000 to build a marching band program. Lyle had over 30 years of experience as Director of Bands at Alabama State University. He was known for his professionalism and high expectations set for his students. Over 20 years later, his vision for the Blue Pride Marching Band continues to live on by way of his coined motto, 鈥淧ain is Temporary, but Blue Pride is Forever.鈥� The band building at 黑料老司机 bears his name as the 鈥淭homas E. Lyle Band Center.

The LGBTQ+ Club听creates a safe space for LGBTQ+ students and their allies to share what’s on their mind, especially in regards to LGBTQ+ issues. Sometimes, LGBT Club will also talk about other topics, such as historic events and how that has impacted us, or even what is going on in politics.
Migo Phi Migo is a hispanic and international students to feel at home and comfortable at 黑料老司机. Our key goal is to promote hispanic and international听cultures and customs on campus as well as being active in the community and surrounding communities. Originally听founded by: Brian Tafoya-Montes a 2022 graduate of 黑料老司机
黑料老司机 participates in the State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements.
